Healing Action Network

Our Impact

Volunteers are essential to Healing
Action Network.

Whether you want to give back, support survivors of trafficking and exploitation, or build new skills, there’s a place for you on our team. We welcome people from all walks of life to stand with survivors and strengthen communities across Missouri. Your time and talents can create lasting change in the lives of the adults and families we serve—and enrich your own life through the purpose and connection that volunteering brings.

Every Gift Matters

Healing Action Network partners with survivors and communities to end trafficking and exploitation across Missouri. Our work thrives because of the compassion and generosity of individuals, families, and corporate partners who share our commitment to safety, healing, and recovery.
Every gift matters.

Your support helps us strengthen and expand high-quality programs—advocacy, therapy, peer support, housing, community education, and statewide coalition efforts—so survivors can access safety and long-term stability.

We offer many ways to give. Choose the option that fits you and your family—one-time or monthly donations, employer matches, event sponsorships, tribute gifts, or in-kind support—and make a difference today.

Annual Giving

With the generosity of donors like you, Healing Action Network advances safety, healing, and recovery for adults impacted by trafficking and exploitation. Your annual gift sustains direct services, strengthens statewide collaboration, and supports policy efforts that improve survivor safety and system responsiveness.

Together, we amplify survivor voices, expand access to quality care and housing, and equip communities across Missouri to prevent exploitation and respond effectively. Thank you for standing with us—your steady support makes lasting change possible.

Matching Gifts

Every donation to Healing Action Network makes a difference—and many employers will match your gift 1:1 (or more) through workplace giving programs. It’s a quick way to multiply your impact for survivors of trafficking and exploitation across Missouri.

How to get started

Ask your HR team if your company offers donation matching.

Make your gift to Healing Action Network.

Submit your employer’s matching request form.

That’s it—your generosity goes twice as far to support safety, healing, and recovery.

In-Kind Gifts

Practical Support That
Meets Immediate Needs

Your generosity can make an immediate, tangible difference for adults impacted by trafficking and exploitation. In-kind gifts help us keep our drop-in center, outreach kits, and emergency closets stocked year-round. Here are simple ways to help:

Ways to Give

Special Events

Mark your calendar and jump in where community comes together. Lend a hand at our annual celebration, staff an outreach booth, or help sort donations before big drives—short shifts, high energy, real impact.

Marketing & Communications

Love storytelling and digital outreach? Help us amplify survivor safety and community awareness through blogs, social media, photos, and e-news. Short assignments or ongoing projects—your voice helps move people to action.

Programs

Prefer direct connection? Work alongside program staff to support day-to-day services so survivors can access care, stability, and community. Typical daytime opportunities; some roles include evenings. Required trainings apply.

Capacity Building

Strengthen the backbone of Healing Action Network. If you’re detail-oriented, systems-minded, or love convening partners, these roles boost our reach and improve how we serve across Missouri.

Young Professionals Against Human Trafficking (YPAHT)

Healing Action Network’s Young Professionals Against Human Trafficking (YPAHT) is a dynamic group of emerging leaders, ages 21–40, who serve as agency ambassadors and create new opportunities for young professionals to lead in the community. Together, we advance Healing Action Network’s mission: Fostering Safety, Healing, and Recovery with Survivors of Trafficking and Exploitation.

How YPAHT Advances the Mission

Raise public awareness and educate the community about the realities and risks of human trafficking and exploitation.

Generate essential funding to power anti-trafficking initiatives and survivor services.

Cultivate a network of engaged advocates committed to building a world free from exploitation.

Why Join YPAHT?

As a member, you’ll help shape a safer St. Louis region by elevating awareness, growing resources for critical programs, and showing up for survivors. YPAHT members participate in year-round activities such as Trivia Night, Healing Night Out, awareness events, networking opportunities, and more. You’ll also directly support clients served by Healing Action Network—including adults of all genders who use our services each year.
